With
Oppo launching the
Oppo Find 5 today, rival manufacturers across China (the globe) are hurriedly trying to get their
phones on the market ahead of Christmas. The
Nubia Z5 could be the first and is expected around Christmas day, but could it also be the thinnest?
The Oppo
Find 5 launch (later today) is one of the most anticipated Chinese
phone launches of the year. Knowing what we do about the
specification, and judging by Oppo's design and attention to create
super thin phones, we are expecting a lot from their latest flagship
phone.
But it's not only the public's attention Oppo have managed to grab, as rival's
ZTE are also planning to launch their 5 inch
1080 phone soon, and it could be even
thinner than the
Find 5.
Leaked photos of the Nubia
Z5 claim to show the thickness of the
phone compared to the iPhone 5 (see above) which shows the 5 inch Nubia
Z5 to measure in at an amazing 7.6mm!
On the specification front, the Nubia Z5 is rumoured to be very similar to the Oppo Find 5 and the HTC Butterfly and will ship with a quad-core CPU, 5-inch 1920 x 1080 screen, 2GB RAM and a 12 mega-pixel camera. No details of pricing but we expect the Z5 to cost around $450-$500 and will be available from around the 25th December!
