even if shopped, thats the likely look of the phone πŸ™‚

They already have official render if you want something artificial to look at, and yes it does look like that, just not badly shopped.

I have my eyes strongly set for this phone!!!

April is most likely my purchase month after reviews:))
    i.e
~February 29th – release date (resellers buy phone)
~March 12th- 25th- probable e- sale of the phone on the internet for international buyers @ $299 free shipping ( I won’t buy then)
    ~April 10th and beyond; e-sale @ $269 free shipping

probably umi x1 will drop towards $150 free shipping from $175 on fast card tech

All in all I am not comfortable with buying expensive phones when i dont even have a job

I’m just in it for the cortex a7 hahahah mediatek talked a lot about their mtk6589, I want to see if it lives up to my expectations of low heat generated and low power consumption.

pair that with a 2500mah battery, and you’ve really got something.

Can someone please explain to me why are most (or nearly all) of the smartphones made in China are all WHITE?

They get dirty easily and change to yellow tint after a short time of use. Quite a turn off.

Most buyers want black, silver or darker/coloured shades (you will notice this because they always run out of stock quickly as compared to white ones) so I don’t get it as to why the manufacturers keeps pumping out lousy whites.

@sotong, most chinese companies build phones in both colors (or more), it is a sample only. wait and you will have available in black color too πŸ˜‰

The phone is about the same size as Umi X1 (which is smaller than G3), only a bit taller yet it come with a 5″ 1080p screen, we have a winner here.

Andy, please check what I found:
from the official UMI X2 Facebook Page and posted by some kind of Team Leader at UMI’s company:

“UMI Europe said: Well, Surely the X2 will become avaible in the mid of March, I think.”

Is it confirmed that this will have Gorilla Glass 2?

So UMi finally decided to go the Gorilla Glass route instead of AGC? I think the UMi X1 used AGC, but not sure I’ve red that many users had their screens broken at the first drop, or even having the phone in their pocket on a tight jean.
