Aoson M33 quad-core tablet with 9.7-inch Retina display and 2GB RAM

The current trend for Android tablet is to shrink in screen size, but sometimes those 7-inch displays with low resolution just won’t do and what you need is a 9.7-inch tablet with Retina display!

Android tablet news has been flooded with 7/8-inch iPad mini wannabes. This is all well and good, but in some situations bigger is going to be better, especially when the larger screen also packs in more pixels.

The Aoson M33 comes with a 9.7-inch, 2048 x 1536 Retina display offering plenty of viewing space and crisp, vibrant visuals. A quad-core Rockchips RK188 1.6GHz CPU drives the Aoson M33 with a Mali 400 GPU and 2GB RAM!

With all that large display and all that processing power you are going to need a heavy-duty battery, luckily the M33 has a 8000mAh pack with is good for up to 8 hours of continuous use. Other nice features include a micro USB, mini HDMI, SD card reader plus front and rear cameras.

The Aoson M33 is on sale now for $229.99 via online reseller Lightake.

There might be some, but take my word with Aoson – it is amazing quality been using the M11 since almost a year and no problems yet, still love it.

I’d rather choose Onda or Ainol since both have cyanogenmod…. although they don’t have built-in bluetooth and need an external one.

I’d wait for the new Icoo 9.7 Inch Tablet that offers the same Features and specs but has Bluetooth – a huge disadvantage to most of the Retina-display tablets currently available — one site called TabletSprint will be offering this new Icoo tablet before the end of May and will be the first reseller in North America to carry it.

Icoo D90GT tablet — i haven’t found any specs that will show if it has bluetooth — looks to have good basic specs: 2048×1536 retina display, quad core A31 with 64bit architecture, 8core GPU, 2 gig dual channel memory, with 1meg secondary cache.

          Processor Speed ???
          Bluetooth ???
          GPS ???
          3G?

The people with this prices will buy it!

Received yet? Some sites say this M33 has bluetooth, some say it doesn’t.
Interested to know if it does or not. M11 owner, and happy with Aoson product, if they had included bluetooth on the M33 it would be great value..
