MUI V5 Beta 2 available for UMi X2

Good news for UMi X2 owners who want a more flexible and smoother experience, MIUI V5 Beta 2 is now available for download!

MIUI V5 will be soon be available for a number of Chinese phones with a quad-core MT6589T processor and even dual SIM support is stated as a feature for the official MIUI V5 MTK build! Unfortunately this Beta ROM of MIUI V5 for the UMi X2 doesn’t support dual SIM support but it does bring the full MIUI experience to the 1080, quad-core Chinese smartphone.

This version of MIUI V5 is based on a port of the ROM intended for the Lenovo S820. For those of you who are brave enough to give it a go you can download MIUI V5 for the UMi X2 here.
