Next generation iOcean Phablet spotted with GS4 and Mi2S

The successor to the iOcean X7 has been sighted once more, this time basking in the desktop light with a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Xiaomi Mi2S for some real size comparison!

iOcean hit a home run with the iOcean X7. The phone has spawned many variants since it launched earlier this year and has even been spotted in India rebranded as the Wickedleaks Whammy.

Gizchina News of the week

For their next flagship phone, iOcean have decided bigger is much better so the new phone (possibly the iOcean X8?) will pack a 6.44-inch display with an eye pleasing 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution! Under the hood beats a 1.5Ghz MT6589T processor with options of either 1GB or 2GB RAM. The phone will also support OTG and will have a 13 mega-pixel rear and 5 mega-pixel front camera.

From the hardware we can safely assume that we will see the new iOcean phablet on sale before the end of the year leaving plenty of time for them to develop an 8-core phone to compete in next years phone battles!

wow!!! finally iOcean comes with a real contender for the lonely [Orient/Firefly/iNew/Actwell/Ulefone] 6.5″ phablet…
I really wanted a 6589T 6.5″ phone, but not the “home button Samsung style” of the only one around…
Now we need to know how long it will take for this one to come to life and int’l resellers…
