Purported Octa-core HTC One with 3GB RAM in the works

Do you have your bags of salt ready? Good, because reports from Greece claim that there is an Octa-core HTC One on the way with 3GB RAM!

Greek website Techcommunity.gr posted this screenshot which they say was taken from a prototype HTC One. From the specifications we can see that the phone has a 4.7-inch display, has an ultrapixel camera and an Octa-core CPU with 3GB RAM.

While we don’t doubt that HTC are working on a successor to the HTC One, we just don’t feel 100% confident that this screenshot is genuine.

What do you do guys think?

Question from a ‘newbie’. I have a phone with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM.
    It seem to work okay.
What is the advantage with a phone with bigger RAM and ROM ?!
    Thanks.

More ram = more programs stored in memory when you close them, so you get quicker multi tasking since the program doesn’t have to restart when you switch but it can instead resume from the ram.
More rom = more internal storage space in your phone and this is only useful for installing more applications since apps can’t be installed on your TF (external sd) card.
