Samsung’s
next generation camera sensor will offer 8 x brightness in low light conditions than current versions.
Samsung’s
new 13 mega-pixel smartphone sensor will go in to mass
production from early
2014. What makes this
new sensor different from current
13 mega-pixel units is that the
Korean company promise it will capture 8 x more light in low-light
environment that current
phone sensors.
In addition the sensor also offers a built-in anti-shake function that can correct errors of up to 1.5 degrees (better than most compact
cameras), will measure the same as current
Samsung sensors and will consume less power.
