Quick! If you could name all the parts you would like to see in your dream phone what would they be? Ok now keep reading to see if your wish list matches the rumoured specifications of the Oppo Find 7.

It has been almost 12 months since Oppo launched their Find 5, since then we have seen a number of Mediatek phones form the company and the Oppo N1, but nothing to replace the flagship phone.

We’ve know for a while that an Oppo Find 7 in the works, but no leaks, spy photos or even rumours have made their way out of the Shenzhen based factories! until today!

Gizchina News of the week

Earlier today Oppo posted a teaser image on their official Weibo account saying “4G LTE, I’m ready! The image could be taken as a celebration to China’s recent launch of 4G across the country, but we (and others) believe this is the first hint for the Oppo Find 7!

oppo find 7 specifications

Some sources went even further and have speculated that the Oppo Find 7 will feature a specification not dissimilar to the Vivo Xplay 3S including a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 2K display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear and LTE. CyanogenMod hasn’t been mentioned but we assume the Find 7 will be supported just as most current Oppo phones are.

What do you think of these Oppo Find 7 rumours? Is there anything else you would like to see on their next flagship phone?

I don’t think Oppo are going to be making the Oppo Find 7 a 5.7-inch device. They’ve probably already had enough from large screen haters with the N1.

I hope so. 5 inch is my limit.
I want a damn phone, not a fucking TV.
Other thing i don’t like is the fact that oppo overprices their phones. I’m dreaming with the day that xiaomi will release a LTE phone.

For the Find 7 I think we will be looking at ultra-thin design, so even with a large display it will be smaller than average. I also think they are going to really improve the battery as the Find 5 was average.
Oppo phones are more expensive than most smaller brands, but they are cheaper then Samsung, Apple, HTC etc and offer more features and quality which is on par.
As for the Xiaomi LTE, keep your eyes open for an updated Mi3 (probably Mi3s) midway through next year 😉

Snapdragon devices are just more expensive than MediaTek equivalents. More expensive silicon and ARPU based royalties drive the price up.

Ummm… so does that make me a large screen hater-hater. Since I don’t have patience to listen to people complain about that the screen is too large when there are plenty of options for screen size.

Maybe complaining about iPhone’s small screen is valid since Apple only offers one size. But Andriod? There always something that suits your “limit”, even though I couldn’t care less what you limit actually is.

Funny you think that. I thought the N1 was well received.

Two of the things I name, would definitely be “Dual-Sim” and “power efficent SoC”

a dual sim device … god why they don’t do it ?!?! (its the only thing that makes me go for the mediatech phones apart from the price !)

The specs haven’t been officially annouced so it’s still possible, but highly unlikely.

Highly unlikely since it will most likely be a snapdragon beast. Yet to see S800 phones support dual sim. It’s more likely to get get a budget friendly alternative like R819 is to Find 5…
