Xiaomi MiPad Tablet spotted again, slated for early 2014 launch?

Xiaomi tablet rumours have reared up again following the posting of a purported photo of the 7-inch MiPad earlier today.

Rumours of a Xiaomi tablet first started to do the rounds at around the time of the Xiaomi Mi3 launch but since then the trail has gone cold leading many to believe that Lei Jun and his team have given up on the idea. However today Weibo user Punkpanda (famous for leaking Chinese tech news) posted a new image of the rear of a Xiaomi branded tablet.

Gizchina News of the week

The image doesn’t show much just the black rear of the device and Mi logo. Sources who claim to know more about the device though say it will have a 7-inch display, quad-core processor, 3G support and cost just 999 Yuan!

Wow if this is true it will sell as hot cakes 😀 Xiaomi is a very good Chinese company at it’s own I just do hope that they will continue to expand their international market 😀

If it where true, it would be quite something. I’d be the first to try to get my hands on that device. But then again, even I could take a grainy photo of any given tablet and slap the MI logo in gimp on it. Would take no more than half an hour. I guess we just have to wait and see.
