Rockchip planning to show off own Google Glass smart glasses rival at CES


In just 4 days time CES in Las Vegas will kick off and one of the gadget trends we expect to see are wearable Android smart glasses like the one Rockchip have been planning.

Rockchip’s smart glass solution features a dual-core 1.6Ghx Rockchip RK3168 processor with built-in Wifi- Bluetooth, GPS, the glasses themselves features a small 720p display, 5 mega-pixel camera which can recored at a resolution of 1080. It also appears that a number of applications will be available for the glasses, although it is unsure if the Rockchip smart glass will ship with Google Play.

    If the price is good, I will love to get this. If only it has 3G inbuilt, would’ve been a plus too.
