ZTE Iconic Phablet, budget LTE announced at CES

The ZTE Grand S II isn’t the only large screen LTE equipped phablet the Chinese communications company have, they also have the oddly named ZTE Iconic Phablet too!

ZTE have taken quite a beating from the press due to the ridiculous naming of their entry-level phablet. To date I believe this is the phone large screen phone to be actually called a phablet by the company which made it, and a quick look over the specs will show just how unworthy it is of being named Iconic, but for an LTE phone on a budget it isn’t all bad.

The device sports a 5.7-inch 1280 x 720 display, dual-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB memory, 8 mega-pixel main camera and also Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.3, LTE and a 3200mAh battery which can be charged wirelessly.

ZTE have told Engadget that the Iconic Phablet could go on sale in the US, but with an unnamed CDMA carrier.
