Will HTC be the manufacturer of the next Nexus tablet


Reports from Taiwan suggest that Google might have chosen HTC to be the manufacturer of the next Nexus tablet.

Google’s range of popular Nexus devices have hit the headlines a number of times over the past few weeks. Rumours ranging from the Nexus range being shelved, to Lenovo being the company behind the Nexus 6 phone have been reported and now a new rumour is doing the rounds.

According to reports from Taiwan, HTC may have just landed a deal to produce the next range of Nexus tablets. HTC have had previous experience with tablets with the ill fated HTC Flyer, building Nexus devices could be just what HTC need to boost their brand image.

    As I understand it, Google has scrapped the Nexus lineup (and is selling Motorola) as part of a long term deal with Samsung.
    It would be great to hear I was misinformed on this on!
