HTC to unveil the octacore Desire 8 in Beijing this month

After a few leaks it looks like HTC are ready to finally officially launch their octacore HTC Desire 8 to Chinese fans later this month.

Rather than showing off their latest mid-range phone at MWC, HTC will be unveiling the Desire 8 in Beijing on 24th Februrary at 10am, we suppose this makes sense as the mid-range Mediatek powered phone is only likely to go on sale in China.

As for specifications it all looks very promising and includes a 5.5-inch display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5 mega-pixel front and a similar front design to the flagship HTC One even down to the front facing speakers. The Desire 8 should also come in a range of colure such as white, red, yellow, orange and others,
