Many Chinese phone makers are expanding across Asia. Xiaomi started to sell their entry-level Redmi in Singapore this week, Oppo have launched the N1 in Indonesia, Vietnam and other areas, and now Gionee have entered Vietnam.
The launch of the elife e7 in Vietnam finished only moments ago and was a glitzy affair to highlight Gionee’s new smartphone. The elife e7 is a flagship device by any standards and boats a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor, and 16 mega-pixel main camea.
Gionee will release both the 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE models of the E7 in Vietnam with prices starting from around $430 rising to $480.
