IUNI U2 ships in triangle packaging

Smartphone startup IUNI have released photos of the packaging for the IUNI U2 sporting a unique triangular design!

The IUNI U2 launched in Beijing last week sporting a 16 mega-pixel main camera, 4 mega-pixel ultra-pixel front camera, Snapdragon 800 processor and up to 3GB RAM all wrapped in a unique alloy body. The IUNI OS slogan “I am unique” continues on to the packaging of the smartphone which we got to see today for the first time.

The photos posted on the official IUNI OS Facebook pages, show a triangular box rather than the more traditional square packaging most brands go for. Inside is the phone, charger and other accessories. The IUNI U2 is currently up for presale in China only from 1799 Yuan ($290).

    Big question is does it support dual SIM and European networks? Is there any way to get your hands on this phone if you live outside China? I would love to order it but I am not planning on visiting China any time soon. :/

      It comes with wcdma (900/2100)
      They said “we dont plan to launch outside of China until next year”.. but i bet you can order online

    Yet another Nokia copy,100% unique Nokia 1520 design 😀

      Not really. They nicked the form factor from the find 5/iocean x7/ neken n6, the outer body build from the HTC one X, the camera bump from the 1520, the OS from MIUI .

      Too bad the bezel is FREAKING HUGE.
