OnePlus One will be priced below 350 euros!

There has been a lot of concern around the price of the OnePlus One flagship. Can they really make a flagship phone at such a low price? The team believe they can and confirmed so today!

A few months back CEO of OnePlus told the world that his companies first phone would go on sale for lets than $500. The news spread like wild-fire, but as confirmed specification details for the device were released fans have become increasingly concerned it just won’t be possible.

Today Lau again confirmed the OnePlus One will have a low price and ensured fans in Europe that the One will cost less than 350 euros ($480). How OnePlus plan to sell their first phone remains a mystery but there are chances the company will either have a distribution center in the EU or team up with Amazon or similar.

The OnePlus One will launch on 23rd April in Beijing and will boast a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 801 processor and 3100mAh battery.

  Yeah, I’m wondering about the same thing. Maybe it’ll be less than 400 US$ in the States only? Hopefully Canada too will get some love 🙁

  Under 400$ still makes sense if you consider that we have to pay for import taxes to Europe anyway.

now i’m really excited about this device. Oppos Find 7 will surely have a hard time selling when the One is out… but one thing is still upon us.. the Motorola Moto X 2.. oh boy so many good devices this year but can’t make a decision..

Price with or without VAT?
If it is without VAT it would cost about 420 Euro and then would be quite undesireable because you get -for example- a LG G2 for ~320 Euros including VAT.

For the price of around 350 Euro, I expect it is VAT included and there is 2 years warranty. Hopefully, the design is nice.

I think you people need to read before saying anything he was strictly talking about Europe he has already made a comment about the price in dollars. its almost as if people are so ready to complain half the time they don’t read

  350 euros means USD$460 here and China, Europe, Canada and everywhere so it’s the same, price will be more than USD$400 anyway.

    Yet again you need to read he has already almost called the price in dollars you are the one that keeps converting Euros to dollars.I quote “it will priced below $500 then someone said yea right meaning $499 Lau says that that’s not the case the one plus will definitely be available for under $400”

Less than $400 is less than 292 € (currency exchange rate as of April 7). But please remember that for example Apple just sells their hardware with the “same amount” regardless if it is dollars or euros. Apple MacBook costs in the US $1,200 and in Europe it is 1,200 €.

  OK but I don’t understand the point your trying make because what your saying does not apply. They have a dollar price and they have a Euros price. In the USA is under $400 and in Europe is under 350€ the prices are clearly not capatiable.

    That is true. What I meant was that products tend to cost more in Europe than they do in the US. I don’t know why, is it because of taxes, shipping, or what? And also I think Pete Lau was referring to the price in Europe.

        I will see what the price and availability will be either directly from China or in Europe and decide after that. Xiaomi Mi4 will supposedly be released in September and I am not sure I can wait that long…
