Following on from our hands on and first impression video of the Xiaomi Redmi Note from earlier today, here are benchmakrs from the octacore Xiaomi phablet.
With the Xiaomi Redmi Note being one of the most talked about octacore smartphones from China at the moment we decided to post benchmarks of the device ahead of our full review. As mentioned earler today in our Xiaomi Redmi Note hands on, the model we have on review is the “Lite” version with 1GB RAM and a 1.4Ghz octacore MT6592 chipset.
Xiaomi Redmi Note benchmarks video
To install apps on the Xiaomi Redmi Note we followed the same easy to follow how to easily install Google Play on Xiaomi phones that we always use.
It’s not at all surprising that the Xiaomi Redmi Note, even in “Lite” guise scores well in benchmark tests, but what is surpring is that some scores on the lower spec’d 1.4Ghz octacore are higher than those on other phones with faster processors and more RAM. Just to recap the Xiaomi Redmi Note benchmarks are as follows:
- Antutu: 23,556
- 3D Mark: 4210
- Nenamark 2: 61.5fps
- Quadrant: 12,992
- Anomaly 2: 209996
We will continue testing the Redmi Note, so stay tuned for new posts. Thanks again to Powerplanetonline for the sample and if you are interested in WCDMA version you can visit Xiaomi Redmi Note on their website.
