Xiaomi Mi3S rumoured to be better looking and better performing

Xiaomi mi3 64GB

A mid-life Xiaomi Mi3S update could bring more than just a boost in hardware to the phone and may result in a better looking device.

The Xiaomi Mi3 is one fine device, but it has hardly aged well and is already looking bulky in comparison to rival phones like the Oppo Find 7a, Meizu MX3 and Gionee Elife E7. All is not lost though as an updated Xiaomi Mi3S is rumoured to launch very soon with an improved design!

According to various sources the Xiaomi Mi3S will be the best looking Xiaomi phone to ever launch (hardly difficult)and will boast updated hardware. Apparently the Mi3S will have a 5-inch 1080 display (2K will be kept for the Mi4), Snapdragon 801 MSM8974Ac processor, 3GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear and 4G LTE.

Gizchina News of the week

With pricing believed to stay at the magic 1999 Yuan mark, the Xiaomi Mi3S could mean terrible news for the OnePlus One which has been updated to 2.5Ghz 801 CPU and 3GB RAM.

I believe Snapdragon 801 can support dual SIM ..this would be a killer move for Xiaomi..a dual Sim signature phone..

I don’t think it’s terrible news for Oneplus since Xiaomi does not offer their phones wordwide yet (only in some Asian countries). Oneplus will launch their phone first in 12 countries with local support, that’s quite an advantage for me.

If you want to buy the Xiaomi phone, you most likely have to rely on third party resellers (unless you live in the Asian countries where Xiaomi is active) and because of that the price of the Xiaomi phone is a bit higher.

The 5.5 inch Oneplus phone may be too large for me, let’s wait for the dimensions of the Oneplus. I prefer a 5 inch phone, because it’s not too large and not too small.

Xiaomi UI optimization can only lose to Apple’s. So the performance is the best of all androids.

For someone living in Europe is it not better (at least for now) to go for the OnePlus One (in terms of support etc…)

I am currently looking at the Oppo Find 7a, and waiting for the Xiaomi Mi3s. The One plus sounds interesting, but i have my doubts at the moment. If Xiaomi pulls a surprise, then i’m gonna go with xiaomi. but if not. it looks like the Oppo will be my next phone.

I for one am waiting for OnePlus and the Mi3S before i buy the oppo find 7a. I am currently holding on to my smashed glass phone for that reason alone. I have the Mi3 on my checkout basket but I haven’t pushed the button yet.
