Mediatek’s latest processors are capable of supporting 2K 2560 x 1440 displays, 4K video playback, 4G LTE and up to 20 mega-pixel main cameras. This isn’t to say the new Redmi phones will get this hardware, but at least it is possible.
So the good news is that Xiaomi will have low-cost, high-end, 4G LTE phones in the future, the bad news is that we may have to wait for up to 7 months (according to reports) before we see them. At least the ZTE Redbull is already on sale with 4G LTE and at just 799 Yuan![ Source ]
