A Q3 launch and Meizu’s desire to have an affordable phone which will appeal to the masses points squarely at the octacore Mediatek MT6595 platform a variant of the current MT6592 but with support for 4G LTE and more efficient big.LITTLE architecture.

At the same time it is also believed a new flagship Meizu MX4 will be announced along with a possible Meizu Blue Charm Note device to rival the Xiaomi Redmi Note.
