Rumour: OOne phone to measure 5.6mm and weigh only 99g

Oone mediatek

OOne are a new phone maker who are hoping to launching high profile phones made of high quality materials based on Mediatek processors. Rumours of their first device would make it one the lightest and thinnest on the market if true.

OOne are working to create some buzz around their brand by leaking possible details about their first phone, but we wonder if they actually know what the market actually wants! According to leaks today the OOne could measure in at just 5.6mm and weigh only 99g, those are some pretty impressive figures, but is this what we really want?

Gizchina News of the week

A thickness of 5.6mm would mean a rather thin battery, and a weight of only 99g suggests plastic construction, thin (non Gorilla Glass) display and a smaller battery still.

If Oone are reading this we hope you prove us wrong and launch a nice, thin light phone with large display and high capacity battery.

Born dead…. totally unrealistic. Not the 56mm but that this phone has a battery that is even close to lasting a day. Total waste of engineering power….FAIL
