WCDMA JiaYu G2F available from 28th May!

jiayu g2f review

We were starting the believe that JiaYu had decided not to launch the WCDMA version of the JiaYu G2F when news of its release date arrived in our inbox.

It is common practice for Chinese phone makers to appease China Mobile by launching a TD-SCDMA 3G version of their phones before a WCDMA is made available, but rarely must we wait as long as we have had to for the JiaYu G2F.

Gizchina News of the week

The G2F is the latest in a long-range of JiaYu G2 updates which has seen the phone transform in to a 499 Yuan smartphone with quad-core MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM, 4.3-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display, 8 mega-pixel main camera and 2200mAh battery.

JiaYu will be releasing the JiaYu G2F tomorrow in China with the black version of the phone costing 499 Yuan and the white model fetching slightly more at 529 Yuan. International resellers are likely to have the phone available from next week.

You are right. Based on the specs at an almost similar price, the Doogee DG800 is the better choice. The wait is over, but not with the kind of ending I was expecting…
