Xiaomi Mi3 launch date, pricing for the Philippines announced

With expansions in full swing, Xiaomi are hoping to conquer the smartphone market with their very own style of marketing as they offer their powerful yet affordable smartphone in another country – the Philippines.

The Chinese maker just announced Mi3 pricing and availability info for the country, something which should bring a smile on the faces of Xiaomi hopefuls in the country. Having said that, we must also mention that there’ll be a mere 3,000 units of the device up for sale, so be ready with your internet connections on 26th June at 12pm.

It’ll be the 16GB version that you’ll be fighting for. Interestingly, Xiaomi have priced the device exactly as much as it goes for in the Chinese market (USD as reference), after prices were slashed sometime back. The device will go for Php 10,599 (US$241) apiece, which should make people go ‘shut up and take my money‘.

In related news, Xiaomi recently launched a website for India, which happens to be in the list of markets the brand is shortly expected to go live in.

If Mi3 comes to India market at eq. Of $ 240 i.e. ₹ 14500 , Xiaomi will have to certainly put 3000×13= 40000 pcs. On flash sale as there are 1.3 billion indians as against about 100 mil ppl in philipines.

Haha, well said! 14,500 INR will really blow away the competition.
