TCL have added a new model to its Memeda range of smartphones. The New Memeda 4G boasts LTE and an octacore processor.

The Memeda originally launched earlier this year as a rival to the Xiaomi Redmi Note. The phone became such a hit with the Chinese phone buying public that an LTE equipped version of the phone has been launched and now available to buy through stores in China.

Gizchina News of the week

The Memeda 4G, aka TCL P728M, is more than just a low cost LTE phone though! It also has a rather attractive body, available in a range of bright colours, and even packs a Sony IMX214 13 mega-pixel sensor with F1.8 aperture! An amazing camera set up at any price.

Network support includes that for TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA and GSM, plus there is a 5.5-inch 720p display, OTG, dual-band WIFI, and 3300mAh battery. The only downside we can see for some is that it only offers single SIM card standby.

What do you think of the new TCL Memeda LTE?

No Dual sim = not for me. Everything else is great, even the battery and design. But single sim is a no go! Too bad….

Screensize does not really have to say the dimensions are big. There are 5 Inch phones smaller or equal to 4,7 Inch ones. It is about overall dimensions…. I prefer a phone with 5 inch screen if it has the same size as the 4,7 one….
