What does the body and spec of a phone look like of a 44,785 point Antutu monster? Well here it is, and shockingly it is a another Mediatek phone.

After seeing screenshots of an amazing Antutu score of 44,785 points earlier in the week, we go wondering as to what type of phone could manage such an amazing score. The wondering and speculation if over now as the phone with the monster score has had its body, and specs revealed in a recent TENAA document.

The phone isn’t called the “Antutu Monster” which is a shame, but rather the Coolpad 8675-HD. According to the hardware the phone runs an octacore processor at a speed of 1.7Ghz, now this could either be the new Mediatek MT6595 or the current MT6592 chipset. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, 13 mega-pixel camera and LTE (native to the MT6595, and possible with an additional modem on the MT6592).

Gizchina News of the week

The secret to the high score is possible the 5.5-inch display which isn’t a 2K unit, or even a FHD unit, but rather a 730p TFT HD model.

Coolpad phones are usually only launched within China, however some of their more high profile products have made it outside the country, Is the Coolpad 8675-HD one of those phones you would like to see launch outside of China?

It has to be the new 6595 as there is no way of getting that score with the 6592. Either way the rest of the spec is quite disappointing. On the bright side I’m sure there are lots of good phones coming our way in the next few months with this SoC that may even have higher benchmarks.

What is your basis on the specs being “quite disappointing”?
