Micromax, Corning ink deal; Future Micromax phones to feature Gorilla Glass

It’s only been a handful of days since Micromax overtook Samsung for market share in India. If that wasn’t a big enough blow, Micromax just announced a partnership with top maker, Corning, who’re best known for providing Gorilla Glass.

Even though there are quite a few Micromax phones that already come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, there’s nothing like a deal like this one, that makes consumers feel all the more secure. A recent example could be the Xiaomi Mi 3; the Chinese company has specifically been mentioning that all of its India units come with Gorilla Glass protection, which surprisingly is not the case with every other Mi 3 unit that’s sold in other markets.
