Lenovo planning 5 new smartphones including the Lenovo Vibe X2

lenovo leaked roadmap

A leaked roadmap shows that Lenovo have 5 new Android smartphone models planned to suit every possible user.

Ranging from the low-cost to the ultra exclusive, Lenovo have 5 new Android smartphones ready to launch in the coming months. The roadmap appears to only show phones aimed at the Chinese market, but there are chances we will see a few arrive elsewhere too.

The first few phones to launch are the Lenovo A768t, Lenovo S858t and Lenovo Vibe-X2. These three phones will launch in September with the first two certainly only going on sale in China (’t’ usually means TD-SCDMA or TD-LTE, so China Mobile only). The Vibe X2, could be the phone that we reported yesterday spotted at Tenaa with a 2.2Ghz processor, slim body and 5-inch 1080 display.

Gizchina News of the week

Moving on to the end of October we will see the launch of the Lenovo Sisley, a possible metal bodied phone, and finally in November the Apollo-yoga will launch. This final phone looks a lot like the ultra-expensive flip phones which China seems to enjoy so much.

What do you think of the coming range of Lenovo phones? Which, if any, would you like to see launch outside of China?

VERY interested in what the Vibe X2 will be! I’ve got a Vibe X at the moment and whilst it is not a powerhouse phone, I love the slim body and 1080p panel. If the Vibe X2 is indeed a 5″ version of the Vibe Z2, I’d snap it up in a heartbeat!
