Meizu MX4 Pro could be launched at music themed event on the 19th November

meizu mx4 pro think higher

If you are one of us who is waiting to finally see the Meizu MX4 Pro, then the 19th November is the date that you should be making a note of.

Meizu have announced that they will be holding a “new product launch”on November 19th in Beijing. Although the Meizu MX4 Pro is not mentioned in the announcement, it does seem highly likely that a flagship phone will finally be unveiled.

One interesting detail is that the launch seems to be music related, so the Pro is either going to have some advanced audio features or we are going to see some audio equipment launched at the event too.

Gizchina News of the week

Media invites have already been sent out for the event and we have every intention of being there, so keep posted to GizChina for more Meizu news.

I Already have some horrible experiences with previous Exynos SOCs. I hope the Exynos 5 SOC this time can be as good as the MT6595 (like Mediatek promised), since Im already using the MX4 and happy so far. See you in Beijing for the launch Andi.

The MX4 will be the beast of 2014 but because of financial reasons I’m more interested in their affordable devices.

Although initially i was expected MX4 pro to be a beast, but now from the tone of Meizu themselves i expect something lesser and not much different to MX4. Just bigger, different chip and finger print scanner compared to MX4. But i guess if they tick on other marks like SD card slot, dual sim, IR blaster, etc they can get a lot more to shout about and royally kill the One plus One.

ok I’m actually a fan of Meizu but lately they’ve been doing this double announcement BS where they say something is going to happen on Monday and then Monday comes and all they do is send out invitations saying something is going to happen on Friday. It’s like they have to announce when they are going to announce their next product.

Between OnePlus’ invite system, Xiaomi’s manufactured demand flash sales, and now Meizu doing this, why is Chinese marketing so utterly totally f*cked up?

if the price remains low for the upcoming mx4 pro, i might give it a try since i really like the prospect of 1 GB ram more, fingerprint scanner, and QHD by Samsung Exynos SoC (hopefully the same or better than Samsung Alpha SoC).
If price goes more than ~20k rubles (~400 euros more or less) here in Russia then I will stay on my decision and buy the MX4 standard from their official resellers here (atm price for the Standard MX4 16 GB is ~16k rubles (~300 euros) but retail sales will start at the end of November – atm they are completing the pre-orders).
