A phone is more than just AnTuTu marks, it is an amagam of many parts and so many factors combine to make a good phone. This emphasis on high AnTuTu scores is not understandable.

Totally agree. Some chinese makers only care about cpu/gpu horse power. This is enough for kids that want to play games, but not enough for many other users. How about NFC, IRDA, MHL, OTG, GPS-Glonass-Beidou, Camera specs, SAR, battery etc etc.

Since people have made Antutu that important, why won’t they use that? Bragging rights you know. That processor is a decent one nonetheless.

Meizu M1 Note with 2 GB ram should cost around $160

Might as well get JiaYu S3 at that price. You get an extra SD card slot and 3GB ram.

The jiayu seems better according to me. In doubt between the jiayu s3, the elephone p7000 or getting the screen of my Nexus 5 fixed.

It looks a lot like many other phones with the same old form factor. It does not appeal to me. Same with Jiayu; they make well specified but dull looking phones.
