We've talked about the
Gionee Elife S7 in the past. The phone from the prolific Chinese OEM promises to be a powerhouse thanks to the
MT6752 processor it packs (also seen on the
Siswoo Cooper i7), and a looker at the same time thanks to its purported 5.5mm thick frame.
Gionee has been quite active on the worlds thinnest smartphone war, with a the Elife S5.5 and later, the Elife S5.1 smartphones. In fact, the Blu Vivo Air, marketed as the thinnest phone available in the US, is also believed to be manufactured by Gionee; it shares its numbers and design one-to-one with the Elife S5.1. Take a look at the teaser
here (Facebook).
Besides the aforementioned, what we know about the Elife S7 is that it'll have a 5.2-inch display (with a 1920 x 1080p resolution), which will most likely be a Super AMOLED panel. The phone is also supposed to measure 148.8 × 72.4 × 5.5mm and weigh an impressive 126.5 g. Somehow, Gionee (reportedly) have also managed to fit in a 2700mAh battery in the slender frame. A 13 mega-pixel rear camera, and an 8 mega-pixel front shooter are expected to power the Elife S7 on the camera front.
