Mlais M52 Red Note Presale begins, plus full specifications

mlais m52

The Mlais M52 Red Note pre sale is not up and live with an early bird price set at $149.99.

Over the past week we have seen the Mlais M52 in renders and we have learned partial specifications, now we have the full details of the phone plus where you can preorder it.

At it’s current price of $149.99, the M52 is current the cheapest 64bit MT6752 Android smartphone you can buy outside of China. Although it is affordable the hardware all looks solid with similar features we have seen from Meizu and Xiaomi in their budget phones.

Since it looks like lot of people is interested into 6752 phones then it would be nice to do a comparison with all the devices coming out with all their pros and cons

Taking into account the chipset delivers over 35% more horsepower than Qualcomm´s Snapdragon 610…

There´s no doubt that it´s the real deal.

The perfect phone 4 me is my Kolina 100+, but If I had to buy any other phone, that would be it with this chipset inside

      B-)

Kolina? Yeah good phone for the money but I don’t know if I could deal with jelly bean in the era of lollipop.

Well, we just need proper support from the manufacturer… Or dev’s 😉

Because Mediatek published L sources for MT6592…we just lack proper driver support by manufacturer.

The phone unlike its Apple clone doesnt bend shit and is amazingly underweight while its battery can last forever. It’s a real shame 100+ does NOT DELIVER even KitKat to this otherwise supergreat phone.

It would be just fine to buy a MT6752 chipset and stick it inside my 100+.

The hardware sold the phone alone, but the manufacturer’s lack of competence is destructingthe real potential of the phone.

Well, it’s pretty common with Mediatek phones due to its closed policy.People on XDA dont even bother to work on mediatek devices. I agree with you when you say that there are some manufacturers that are incompetent when it’s about software.

            • March 9, 2015

Mediatek has somewhat changed its policy once they entered into Android One’s partnership.

Devs normally were more ambitious formerly, they now stick with updated hardware they know instead of picking up the towel and trying Mediatek’s source now it is in the public domain.

Android spirit is about bringing better hardware at cheaper prices. Devs for the Note4 and co are a bunch of Applelike snobs trying to give their overpriced junk a Nexus like feel to look cool to the community.

I guess anyway now the biggest problems are Chinese manufacturers that are incompetent to compile drivers for updated Android versions…

that’s where the importance of the brand comes in play and makes the difference, I bought my Coolpad F1 with 4.2.2, it received 4.4.2 some months ago and L is on the way… if it was still with JB, I may be searching for a new phone in months, but this way I am more than happy to keep mine for at least another year!

The Chinese (Mlais) ripping off the Chinese (Xiaomi). What’s this world coming to?
If the Mlais takes the same battery (BM42) and accessories as the RedMi Note – I might considering getting one. MIUI would be the icing on the cake.
