Zopo rumoured to launch a deca-core flagship in Barcelona on 15th September

zopo 2016 flagship

Come the 15th of this month, Zopo will be coming live from Barcelona with a secret announcement! The first release of a deca-core phone outside of China.

Zopo are not strangers to becoming the first to get the latest Mediatek processors. A few years back they were the first to use an 8 core processor in the Zopo 998, and next week they might be one of the first to reveal a deca-core powered smartphone.

Gizchina News of the week

Obviously Zopo are trying to keep all the details under wraps for now, but what we have learned from reliable sources is the phone will feature a fingerprint scanner, 20 mega-pixel main camera and 2K display. The device might be a large screen model with 6-inch panel, but pricing is said to be competitive.

Will we see Zopo rise like a Phoenix from the flames next week? Will this ‘new’ Zopo excel where they previously failed? What do you think?

Trouble is like all these helio x20 phones, they won’t be available to buy till early next year at best. Hate it when companies announce phones that aren’t available for purchase for months afterwards. This does look quite promising though if rumors are true.

I hope it’s not 6″ and more like 5.5. Also needs 8MP+ front camera. Very interested.

If it was 5″ or smaller, I want it. They did it well with the Speed 7 (Plus). Making the same phone in 2 sizes saves you development costs and you can serve much more customers.
