SJCAM are releasing the new SJ5000x 2K action camera in a limited run of 1000pc. More details after the jump.

SJCAM are quickly becoming the action camera maker to check out if your budget wonā€™t stretch to a GoPro, but sports enthusiasts are choosing SJCAM for more than just their low-cost.

The Chinese camera maker offers a massive range of cameras from low-cost non WIFI models to 4K versions. What they all offer though are great pricing, surprisingly good video and a huge assortment of included accessories.

The latest is the SJ5000x which looks like all the other rectangular SJCAM models (even down to the choice of 7 bright colour options), but there are features that set this model apart from the rest.

2K video recording at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 is the major upgrade the camera has, there is also a new UI with 18 built in languages and a new NTK96660 Novatek CPU for smooth performance. Like most SJCAMā€™s the SJ5000x has a 2-inch display on the rear, WIFI, and dedicated apps for use with either Android or iOSĀ devices.
