HOMTOM HT5 37% off in Lightinthebox pre-order sale, delivery to occur by November 5th

HOMTOM has two excellent smartphones in the HT5 and HT6, if only because of their monstrous batteries that can plow most consumers through a few days of light and moderate use. Online retailer Lightinthebox is back with an HT5 pre-order sale, giving you the chance to save 37% and get a phone with a great battery and excellent build materials, all at once.

The HOMTOM HT5, with a retail price of $179.99, can be yours via the pre-order sale for just $114.99 ($65 off). The HOMTOM HT5 provides a 5.0-inch display with HD resolution, MediaTek MT6735 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM with a microSD card slot for an additional 32GB of storage, 5MP front camera, 13MP back camera, and a 4,250mAh battery with Android 5.1 Lollipop as the update you can expect out of the box. As for back cover materials, prepare to choose between ebony and black apricot.

Gizchina News of the week

We can’t leave out the fact that the HOMTOM HT5 has a dart-resistant display, which puts consumers one step closer to shatter-resistant displays. As for when you can expect your pre-order purchase to arrive, Lightinthebox pegs November 7th as the magic date — that’s when the discount offer ends, too. For those who never get enough savings, enter the code 37DBA2927E for an additional $10 off. Follow this link to land on the listing page!

    Is it a 6753 or 6735?

It is not $65 off, this is just marketing! This is around standard price for Homtom HT5, as it is $119.99 on PandaWill so this is just $5 off.

Or maybe you were thinking about Homtom HT6? In the text you mentioned its specifications (HT6 is 5,5 inch and HT5 is 5 inch). Its normal price is $139.99, so than, this is $40 off.

Also, HomTom has 1GB RAM and MT6735p instead of 2GB RAM and MT6753 as suggested in the article.

Indeed, the article is far from reality.

I fully agree. Diedre’s “articles” usually appear to be nothing more than re-circulated press releases from the company. Her articles really annoy me and make me want to turn away from GizChina. If it wasnt for Andy and Yash I wouldnt bother coming back…
I also hate the fact she always ends an article with a question? grrr……
What do you think guys? 🙂

Her articles annoy me, too. But again, I read them – just to see how much she can be stupid. 😀 I don’t why Andy tolerate this, he is the owner of the site. And I hate how she never replies to comments, she just write her shit and don’t even care.

it is obviously her given ‘task’ and brings in the $, but feels like a mistake for this site, too much non news, not enough reviews. sorry but really need a Diedre filter.
