Ever since the rise of companies like OnePlus and Xiaomi, other more established makers have had to put their thinking caps on and churn out phones that aren’t just good, but also affordable.

ZTE tried to do that with the Axon Elite a little while back. The phone is in essence a OnePlus 2 rival with specifications up to par.

If you aren’t aware, the ZTE Axon Elite comes with a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080p FHD resolution, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB on-board storage, a 13 mega-pixel rear + 2 mega-pixel camera setup (dual rear cameras), 8 mega-pixel front facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

Like any other flagship phone, the Axon Elite too features a fingerprint sensor… and along with that, eye recognition technology and NFC, a couple features that the OnePlus 2 doesn’t offer.

Nice phone but if you’re in the U.S. then for $30 more you can get the Nexus 6p and be able to connect to any network, gsm or cdma. + you could even try google’s new fi service.
