Ulefone Be Pro 2 photos and specs

Ulefone have announced the details of they ā€˜updatedā€™ Be Pro 2, but the specs donā€™t really seem much of an update to us.

Ulefone have made some strange announcements recently. For example the Be Touch 3 was announced as an update over the Be Touch 2, but when you look at the hardware there the new ā€˜updatedā€™ phone actually has a lower spec processor and smaller battery.

In a similar move Ulefone have announced details of the Be Pro 2. This phone will launch as a replacement to the original Be Pro that went on sale at the start of the year and will have similar specs to the original but an switch to a Mediatek MT6735 chipset.

Gizchina News of the week

Pricing has crept down to $120, which gets you a 5.5-inch HD display, 2600mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and 5 mega-pixel front, plus a stock Android 5.1 installation.

Overall the specs donā€™t look like much of an improvement when compared to the original, and looking at recent phones like the UMi Rome, the hardware seems a little under par at the price. What do you guys think?

Let’s see if now they have made a decent Job, cause while the first Be Pro had ‘good’ specs on paper, it was a junk in build quality.

My Be Pro is now going on 9 months old. Phone still working fine. But the phone has already been orphaned by Ulefone. I have not received an update since August. No software updates or security patches.

    Buyer beware.

Strongly dissagree. Using my Ulefone Be Pro 7 month already. No problem at all. The only issue is that they not releasing Android 5.1 on it or newer versions. I dunno for me it was one of the best phones. I also heard about Be Touch 2, but i think it was quite popular and i guess there must be some problems. Have you tried to change it or maybe fix?

I have the Be Pro and its rubbish. The first OTA caused the phone to brick and cause much pain to get it back.

Bought this phone for my girlfriend for 119 dollars i think…couldnt find a cheaper phone with 4g and decent specs and i have to say i was impressed, very fast for a only 1 ghz quad core and the display is very bright and quality, also the phone is pretty light, also has a clean android on it,no bloatware…so far everything works i hope camera wont go dead haha

The minus for this devices would be the camera and the fact the cpu is only 1 ghz quadcore. I have myself a Lenovo K3 Note wich im very pleased with.
