If the Bluboo Xtouch caught your attention but a 5-inch display is more up your street then the all new Bluboo X9 could be worth a look.

The first details of the Bluboo X9 were revealed in leaks in November, and the development has moved on to an early production run that might result in phones going on sale before the end of the year.

Bluboo X9 Specs

A 5-inch display with metal chassis keeps the phone compact, and an octacore MT6753 chipset points at a possible low-price and mid range aspirations. Since the first leaks we have now also learned that the 5-incher will boast a FHD, 2.5D display with Asahi toughened glass.

Gizchina News of the week

The MT6735 chipset gets 3GB RAM to play with and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, but let’s hope Bluboo are working on bringing Android M to the phone soon. FDD LTE support is confirmed to include B1/B3/B7 and B20 only and there is a chance that the phone will come with NFC and fast charging.

Other details include a 2500mAh battery, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel F2.2 rear camera, 16GB memory and rear facing touch ID fingerprint scanner with app lock built-in to the ROM.

Pricing hasn’t been revealed but the 20th December is when we should see the Bluboo X9 officially launch.
