Cubot working with Kilimall with an aim to bring phones Africa

Cubot and Kilimall have partnered up in a long term cooperation to bring Cubot phones to Africa through the 2nd larges E-commerce site.

Cubot have been on a bit of a roll recently. Their new X16 and X17 phones have been surprisingly well made and feature quality metal and glass designs with decent hardware and 3GB RAM. As well as these two flagship phones the company also makes a few entry-level models that are proving popular in Africa.

Cubot have teamed up with the 2nd largest E commerce portable in Kenya, Kilimall, to distribute its phones in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania with hopes to expand their reach right across the whole of Africa.

Kilimall have set up a dedicated team or 30 staff to handle the sale, service and after sales of Cubot phones to customers, and currently selling the Cubot X9, X15, P11 and X9 now. More details can be seen on the Kilimall website.

    I live in Kenya and this is great news… There’s definitely a large market here for quality midrange smartphones..Brands like tecno, wiko, infinix e.t.c are already grabbing huge pieces of the pie. It’s great to see more Brands follow suite…

      Wiko is a brand that is starting to pop up all over the world. Every country I go to now I am saying their ads or displays in stores.

        it’s actually from France and currently has invested a lot in mid range smartphones

          The brand is French but the phones themselves are actually made by Tinno a Chinese company, who actually owns Wiko.

    Cubot the only “small” company that I’m still willing to purchase their products.

    Gifted several Cubot phones to family members and sold like 50 units and so far only one faulty battery(and most likely caused by the user) no other small company has this clean record, I see them becoming a big player in the future, but they need to work in software updates, their stock ROMs are great but you can expect only 1 or 2 OTAs.
