Elephone for the first time ever will be holding a launch event for their new Elephone P9000 watch and W2 smartwatch.
Generally Elephone announce and launch phones online only and skip the usual fanfare of a launch event, but for 2016 they are stepping their image up with a launch event in Shenzhen on the 15th January.
Elepehone Wonderful 4 Event
The event will be the official launch of the W2 smartwatch, M3 and ELE Power, but the real star of the show will be the Elephone P9000 flagship phone sporting Mediatek Helio P10 chipsets. The 4 products making up Elephone’s “Wonderful 4”.

Elephone have already created invitations for the launch event in Shenzhen for the 15th January, and will update us with more information for the Malaysia and Moscow events in the new year.
If you haven’t already purchased the P9000, Elephone are still running their ‘Crowdfunding’ event over on their website which will give participants discounts off the retail prices of the smartphones.
P9000 will make’em or break’em.
Elephone does struggle to finance each project, so possibly. People are underestimating the Vowney’s success though.
I keep telling their main team they are underestimating the Vowney success and the ability of the Vowney design to be used for the Vowney Pro 10 the so called planned Intel version, but they’re more excited about the P9000 series and its new fabrication.
The only problem with the Vowney is its timing, not only the delays but also that it’s locked into an era of lacking American carrier bands now supported in the X20 and P10. This is why Elephone is bringing the X20 version in March-April 2016 but at $380USD price tag – around the same price as the P9000 Edge that may have the X20 too. The other P10 based P9000’s are planned around January to March. The American mode P9000’s in February-March.
They may show off their new Explorer Pro Cam too.
