A transparent sign spelling out Xplay5S has been spotted in China causing fans to ask if this is a leaked invitation for the Vivo Xplay 5S launch?

Chinese phone makers like to go the extra mile with invitations for their flagship phones. In the past we have seen interactive virtual reality style invitations, 3D holograms and even parts of phones be used as invitations by Meizu, Oppo and Vivo. A transparent sign is now rumoured to be the invite for the Vivo Xplay 5S launch.

Like Oppo and Xiaomi, Vivo have been taking their sweet time with a new flagship phone and replacement to their much celebrated Vivo Xplay 3S. In honestly its not all that surprising that Vivo haven’t been able to top themselves yet as the Vivo Xplay 3S launched with a 2K display, fingerprint scanner, and 3GB RAM years ahead of the competition.

I hope you are right Andy and this is not a joke. We have been waiting for far too long. I had the privilege to own the xplay 3s and it is the best phone I ever had to date. It is still running fast and well. And their combination of processor/camera/screen was a kind of mix you only found in dreams at the time. Best camera ever, never found anything as good since. Very excited to see what this one will turn out like, again: we have been waiting for far too long! The only minus was Vivo very own take on Android updates: very slow and very very behind the rest of the pack. But I have to admit their OS Funtouch works very well too. Hope the 5s will live up to the legacy.
