The device is an Intel Core M powered tablet running Windows 10. It isn’t the most powerful tablet you’ll read about today, but with a decent SoC and a large battery, the device might be something on-the-go users might be interested in.
Gizchina News of the week
There’s a catch, however. The tablet isn’t the most affordable one on the market, with an asking price of $636. Besides, the Cube i9 has 4GB of RAM, which sounds a little off considering the asking price.
Nonetheless, full specs of the device include, besides the 2.2GHz Intel Core M processor, 128GB of ROM, 12.2-inch 1920 x 1200p display, a USB Type-C port, a 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 2 mega-pixel front-facing camera and a proprietary port to attach an optional keyboard.
Design is pretty much in line with other Cube tablets, such as the i7 and i7 Remix.
Better to buy a laptop.
OMG! This is crazy. I had hopes of buying this, but oh well, I’d better buy a full blown laptop instead of this.
Cube must be crazy!
Better to buy a laptop.
good luck with that, Cube
Hahaha where they high when they came up with that price?

Teclast sells the same tablet with only two differences: it’s 11.6′ and it’s 350$.
Who you gonna call?
what “same”? Did teclast announced core m3 tablet already? or you mean the older version which is basically not the same tablet
BTW those “tablets” that measure almost a kilo are not exactly … tablets, they’re more like keyboardless laptops, in both size and weight. A tablet is a book-like device (less than 500 grams, most often close to 400 grams).
…I think a hybrid/2in1 is a more accurate name.
first of all, your comment is irrelevant to the conversation… and btw yes, it is a tablet, you just make assumptions. Guess what. Big rocks with a specific shape are also called tablets. Its not about the weight…
Tablets are the functional equivalent of a book. Books have a weight, so yes it is about the weight too. 2in1s/hybrids are something between a tablet and a laptop.
BTW rock tablets are the functional equivalent of a book … of that time.
so a book has a certain weight? not it doesnt….idiot. if its 500 grams is tablet but if its more than a kilo its not? wow…how stupid can you be? and by the way, the keyboard is optional and detachable, which means that when you attach the keyboard is is no longler consider a tablet, but the basic form is tablet. Please leave, you are a bad troll. You continue a conversation that is irrelevant to the first post….you are so pathetic
The way you use a 2 in1 is very different than the way you use a tablet. No you just can’t remove a keyboard and turn it into a tablet. It’s too heavy for extended use. You don’t seem to understand what “functional equivalent” is and why/how are merely actualizations of archetypical uses.
A tablet is not a phone and it is not a 2 in 1. If the primary use of a 2 in 1 becomes that of a tablet (keyboard less, for consumption) then it will become one, but then you’d have to change the dimensions of people (hence why archetypical uses form in the first place).
Anyway if it makes you happy to call a hybrid as tablet do be it, I won’t stop you I merely made a comment on the ridiculousness of using obsolete terms (they become obsoleted by the type of use that you choose).
BTW if you thought it’s off topic why do you continued the conversation? Secondly I rarely call people names, I use arguments, I’m very rarely actually trolling. I just see inconsequential arguments better than most people and then inform them on that. I was always like that.
PS: If you read a lot for the last 20 years you’d see that a book is rarely over 500 grams. Those 1KG mammoths would not sell as reading devices (I.e. books of shorts) merely because of their weight. Guess what, they’re not, most people use them in all the ways possible except reading books for extended time.
If writing a crapload of something irrelevant to the original post is satisfying you even if you dont understand what a tablet is, then go on. You sound ridiculus. I am sitting in my chair waiting for you to amuse me more
It’s not satisfying me I merely made one singular comment, I prefaced it even by typing “by the way” which meant that my comment was peripheral to the discussion at hand (to begin with). I followed all the rules of contact, by prefacing my comments, by alluding to scientific/linguistic concepts (“language is the conduit of concepts rather than the inventor of concepts”), I’ve done everything correctly.
You on the other hand stood in a corner cursing, using non sequiturs , using personal insults without even knowing me, and eventually laughing the subject off when you found out that you are probably wrong.
I’m trying to correct your wrong assumptions using reason, you should be thanking me or actually argue against me, not trolling me. Bye
Damn…sick people looking for attention. Go and write your opinions in a relevant forum, not in a freaking comment section. No one cares about how much can you write. Phycho
A comment section is meant for opinions. BTW if you continue with your insults I’ll report the multiple posts filled with it.
Wow, still going on, what a tough man. Still need that drop of attention to continue life. Go ahead and make my day
I’m obviously not doing it for attention. I’m doing it for the conversation. A common troll does it for attention. But (a) he has no new or important arguments, (b) he’s not well researched.
I was referring to Chomskian understanding of linguistics (language expresses concepts rather than creating them). According to it a tablet cannot both be an iPad and Surface Pro (they’re used differently and play different role) and indeed it isn’t .
Surface Pro is a hybrid and an iPad is a tablet. For example I have both, because they’re.not.the.same.concept. Understand this, for the love of god. Please! (and stop with the ad hominems they’re useless form of argumentation).
oh my god this is so intense….do you get horny by being irrelevant? Or maybe you just like cats… wtf weirdo
Nah, ever since I was a kid I was bullying bullies. 30 years strong and still going. Nothing better than shutting up those that offer no arguments and merely wish to impose their opinion (for example like I told you my topic was peripheral to the topic, as this misunderstanding of concepts leads to less tablets in the market which -in turn- affects us users, but nooo you want to impose your opinion that my comment is irrelevant without backing it)
Go on, unleash hardcore your irrelevance! FORZA
Like I said what I wrote is not irrelevant but (rather) peripheral, but … oh, anyway, if I cannot make you see this there’s nothing more that I can do… Cheers.
HAIL king of irrelevance. Teach us more master
Ignore that moronic troll mate, twats like that aren’t worth responding to…
Well… sometimes rude people do have a point. He didn’t, he was just calling me names, so in retrospect it was kind of a waste, but at the time I didn’t know that (I though he had an argument to offer … eventually).
Cheers kotsios555.
I meant the X2 Pro: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_252601.html?gclid=CjwKEAiArdG1BRCLvs_q-IObwxMSJACXbLtzmzGMfGxYSkV1l4kZTJSJi_GtehUCLfpsyjbSDTgBVxoCQt7w_wcB
My bad.
I hadn’t notice the Chuwi was core m3. Teclast is also Skylake (Core M i5 5Y10C) so around 20% slower…
Still no sense in buying the Chuwi for nearly double the price.
For nearly the same price of the X2 Pro I’m even considering going down to the x7-Z8700 equipped X16 Power and enjoy the 8GB of RAM and much smaller power footprint.
well i guess we have to give it a little time to see some price drops, or see new chinese models. There is the voyo ultrabook with core m3 for now with a pretty attractive price http://www.banggood.com/VOYO-VBook-V3-Ultimate-Stylus-64G-Intel-Core-M3-6Y30-13_3-Inch-Windows-10-Tablet-p-1033679.html…as for the atom processor…i have read that if you want some serious productive work, its not recomended…core m is much more stable and powerful.
I’ve been through an immense load of benchmarks and my conclusion is that for most uses, a Z8700 or even a Z8500 will do.
I’m also a heavy user of both video and image editing suites, but for that, I have an old i7 870 with 16GB to which I plan to remote login to when that kind of work demands.
Still, even if slower, a Z8500/700 with 8GB might walk through the rope when I’m not at home.
But for that price, your suggestion for Voyo is much appreciated since it’s much faster and has a bigger screen. Thank you.
I wish this one was sold for 200$ …
good luck with that, Cube
