Elephone continue their march towards being a recognised brand beyond just the niche of customers they’ve catered to in the past with the release of the Elephone M3.
The device is powered by the same Helio P10 that powers the P9000 from the same company.
The M3 however gets a completely different ‘business-like’ look. The company also talk about Android 6.0 that the phone will get an update too in the future.
Elephone M3 Specifications
While the MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 remains constant across all models, the M3 will get a couple spec sets including one with 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and another with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM.
Gizchina News of the week
A highlight of the phone will be the rear camera, which will be a 21 mega-pixel (Sony IMX 230) sensor. The 2GB RAM version, however, will get a 13 mega-pixel sensor. Both models will feature an 8 mega-pixel front-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery inside the full-metal body.
There’s no word on pricing and/or availability as yet. There is, however, a video of the device which you can take a look at right below.
Elephone M3, yay or nay?
Back panel doesn’t appear to fit right when its face down on the table from the top of the phone
I hate the colour and finish
And although it’s a big improvement, the black borders to seem to be creeping back in somewhat…
But hey, if it’s your thing then ignore me lol
Latest huawei too, but they’re actually thin! I assume a little bezel is needed on metal phones in order to isolate the digitalizer and prevent it from going mad touching directly the metal borders… But the difference between “putting a small bezel for electric isolation” and “putting fat ass black borders to pretend small bezels on a shut down screen” is huge! ?
