Cubot Rainbow – first real pics of a new model

Cubot is going to release the Rainbow just after the Dinosaur. Of course we are talking about Cubot phone models, because something new just surfaced from the company in form of the new Cubot Rainbow. We should see the Dinosaur model by the end of the month even with the Android 6.0 out of the box and along with it should come the new Cubot Rainbow right away.

Gizchina News of the week

The name hints pretty heavily toward some sort of different color versions, but nothing specific released about that yet. But some specs are already known so no need to guess in that matter.  Rainbow will get a 5-inch 2.5 arc HD display, quad-core MT6850A processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, -1 GB RAMa and 16 GB storage expandable by microSD up to 32 GB.

Rear camera will be 13 Mpix one along the 5 Mpix front shooter, operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow and phone will be a dual-SIM one. Price hasn’t been revealed yet but looking at the specs it’s clear it won’t be high, probably somewhere around the 50-60$ range.

Cubot just churning out well made but utterly boring phone-alike-phones, could be such a force if they really put some effort in.

    Holy black border!

And Cubot really needs to fire the team that comes up with the names…
