It feels like an age ago when
Zopo revealed the Speed 8 at MWC, and believe it or not but the phone is still not on sale, but those of you waiting here are the
Antutu scores for the phone.
Although announced at MWC, the
Zopo Speed 8 still hasn’t gone on sale (however pre-sales did start a few weeks back). For those of you who have forgotten the details the Speed 8 has a 5.5-inch FHD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB memory, 21 mega-pixel IMX230 rear camera, NFC, fingerprint scanner and Type C USB.
At the time of launch the Speed 8 was the first phone to be announced with a
Helio X20 chipset, but that detail has been somewhat overshadowed by the release of Helio X25 devices from both Meizu and LeTV.
Still the specs on the Zopo Speed 8 do suggest a decent performer, and the first official Antutu scores show a score of 91,464 points. Our Zopo contacts say that the scores remain quite stable even after numerous tests, but as we all know Antutu isn’t really a great way to judge a phones performance.
We’ve put in a request for Zopo to run some other benchmarks and we wait to finally get a production version of the phone for review to see what the device runs like in the flesh.
