We already know Elephone is working on the P9000 Edge model and we have seen already few quite mysterious pics of it, often connected with some guesswork. Thanks to those we have learned that the P9000 Edge will have dual camera setup with dual LED flash and that the fingerprint scanner will be integrated into the Home button with red highlighted circle around it.

Today we have another episode of the Elephone mysteries and it’s about the hardware thingie hidden on the side. It looks like a hardware slider button, which will probably serve as a sort of a Smart Key, but the real functionality is the mystery, because Elephone officially confirmed only the Mute function for it so far. But that’s certainly not the end of it, because they promised that based on the tests and feed back more will be added to it.
So what other functions can there be tied to the slider? Any ideas or thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
