ZTE Axon7 to launch 26th May (will be live streamed)

ZTE’s sub-brand Axon was created to take on the likes of ‘online’ brands such as OnePlus and Xiaomi. While Axon may not have been as successful as either of the other two names as yet, the brand is picking up pace — the recently leaks are a testimony to that.

Axon has finally announced the launch date for their upcoming phone, the ZTE Axon7. The launch is going to take place in ZTE’s home country of China, but there’s still a way you can catch hold of what would be going there.

Gizchina News of the week

The event titled ‘ZTE’s Newest Flagship Axon Launch: Listen to the Power of Inner Sound’ will take place in Beijing, China on the 26th this month between 7pm and 9pm. That said, ZTE will live stream the event (via Facebook) for its international audience.

What this means is that there is a high chance of the phone making it to markets outside China. The Axon7 is going to be an all-out flagship with a Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 5.5-inch 2K display, 20 mega-pixel main camera, and a 3140mAh battery.

Stay tuned for more news about the Axon7.
