LeTV’s Le 2 launched not so long ago, but already a variant on the device has been sighted with purported Exynos chipset.

The Le2 launched with quite the fanfare a few weeks back and has proven to be a phone popular with phone fans around the world who are patiently waiting to get their hands on one, but for Chinese customers another variant might also soon go on sale.

Sighted on TENAA today the Le2 X502 features a similar designed and all alloy unibody construction, but according to source in China runs a 1.9Ghz octacore Exynos 8870 chipset. As this Samsung chip only runs on certain LTE networks we don’t expect it will be up for (official) International sale.

The rest of the hardware includes a 3000mAh battery, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5 mega-pixel front, USB Type C, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and yes it still has no 3.5mm headphone jack.
