Upcoming Elephone P9000 Edge is trying to jump not just aboard the bezel-less design train, but also on the dual-camera setup bus riding next to it. That’s why it will be equipped with dual 13 Mpix Sony IMX258 cameras with PDAF support.
The 2 cameras will function differently. Main camera is for shooting, and sub-camera is mainly responsible for the estimated depth of field and spatial information in order to achieve accurate and fast focus .The first big feature of the rear camera is the support of depth of field photography, namely, to blur the background, highlight photographed objects (that is, take the photo before focus).

Another thing is that the dual camera can perform better in low-light conditions, because it can analyze which camera can do higher spot reduction and helps your phone to suppress the noise and get the more ideal image.
Concerning the Elephone P9000 specs we know the following : 5,7-inch JDI display with 2K resolution, Mediatek Helio X25 processor, full metal body with AAC speakers and the aforementioned dual camera setup with ultra fast focus. Allegedly the P9000 Edge is going to be available in two versions, 4 GB RAM/32 GB of storage and higher 6 GB RAM / 128 GB of storage.
will improve or get worse?
sounded good if it wasn’t Elephone
camera will improve or get worse? ….. 2>5 ? lol
sounded good if it wasn’t Elephone
They can’t even make a single lens camera to work well and now they are going for dual settings. Wishful thinking in my opinion.
Elephone need to provide something that looks good on paper.
Whether they can deliver or not they will think later.
Their cheapskate tactics are getting more and more annoying than amusing.
When they will grow up and do everything proper to compete with all the big guys ? Really surprising that they still doing the same thing, keep promising their customers something that never come true.
obviously this phone is guranteed to come out quickly and will be amazing .. so they are going for the depth of field type of double camera? what a waste
