Among other things Ulefone claim that their newest Ulefone Metal model is going to offer quite a solid battery life. With 5-inch HD display, octa-core MT6753 processor and 3050 mAh battery the device should allegedly last a day and a half on a single charge.
As a proof they managed to produce a video and once again the good old iPhone 6S makes an appearanc being compared to the Ulefone Metal. Both phones are running a HD video for 30 minutes so the test is absolutely inconclusive and very orientational. On top of that the result difference is negligible, battery dropped from 75 to 67 percent with Ulefone Metal and 60 to 51 percent with iPhone 6S.
So it’s proving close to nothing and we have to wait for some real world battery testing to have some idea about the Ulefone Metal’s battery performance. For now we can just carefully take the Ulefone’s claim about 1,5 day or 1 day of heavy usage into consideration as a rough baseline promise.
Ulefone Metal is currently available for a presale price of $109.99 and with some extra free gifts packaged in, specifically a flip case and tempered glass protector.
