Elephone R9 coming with some seriously thin body

Another piece of information about the upcoming Elephone R9 just landed in our mailbox so we can add it to the puzzle. But first of all let’s go through what we already know about the phone.

So voilá, Elephone R9 will have a full metal body made by CNC processing and the fingeprint scanner is going to be located in the front while using some new modern materials and a protective glass. Display will be a 5,5-inch one with FullHD resolution and of course the trademark bezel-less design. It will be powered by the deca-core Helio X20 processor supported by 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage, main rear camera will be a 16 Mpix shooter while the front one will be only 8 Mpix and everything governed by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. We should be getting also a special “Sapphire Classic” blue version, which looks just marvellous.

Elephone are pretty proud about the resulting design and thin profile of the R9 model, allegedly their engineers have been working on such aestetic solution for more than a year. And of course to fullfill the quote we have an obligatory iPhone 6 Plus comparison in this matter, Elephone R9 is going to be 7,55 mm thin so beating the iPhone by 0.05 mm. Minimal difference, but looks good in the marketing papers right?

Rather than have 1 mm less in phone thickness I’d rather have more battery capacity added.
I’ve held really thin phones and while they look great they’re not that great to hold in your hands.

I think they are great looking phones. I don’t know why everybody is complaining about battery issue, it’s not 2011 anymore where you’d have to charge 2/day.. I’m sure Elephone will release with it stock Nougat or Marshmallow Android and it will be very battery efficient.

Most people complain about this particular phone because it is Elephone and they have a terrible track record for quality and efficiency. Elephone needs the biggest battery possible.

        Yeah, I’m totally with you.
Elephone is no premium brand, they’ll stay midrange for a while.
Besides that, I feel the P9000 is quite solid.

“Another piece of information about the upcoming Elephone R9 just landed in our mailbox”. So every spam email Elephone sends you is now news? I’m now convinced they’re paying you guys.

IMHO Elephone don’t need to pay GC as they offer them an article to write without having to search for any information, so they can have enough articles a day to sustain our attention and cash in Ad money with minimum effort.

I love it how these guys try to be competitive to the iPhone, which is a million times more expensive. The Sapphire color suits its metal case really good. I hope the battery life will be quite good as well.

It is too too thin that I’m worried that users may drop it from hand. :p

I don’t know why elephone is continuously targeting iPhone?? From design to body, from body to screen. Hahaa.. It shows Apple is the best. So the competition is against the best.
Then make a camera like iPhone 6 plus ??

If I read “on-line”, it seems that elephone is unsatisfactory about customer care, but reading the forums, all the users speak well about smartphones…
    Who to believe ???
As many say, I think there are people around, paid to discredit elephone …

Hopefully this time elephone would be serious and give proper support to the customers otherwise all of these are worthless.
